What started just over a decade ago as a vision—supported by Port Colborne Minor Hockey—has grown into something truly special. The Port Colborne Girls Hockey Association has evolved into a thriving, full-spectrum program that supports players at every age and every stage of their hockey journey. From first-time skaters to competitive athletes and lifelong players, The Wave has become a place where hockey—and community—come together.

A Thriving Youth House League Program
Our youth House League has seen incredible growth, with record-breaking registration numbers and strong participation across all divisions.

  • Consistent team formation across U7–U15 (with multiple teams in most divisions)
  • A highly successful Jr. Fundamentals program, introducing new players to the game in an affordable, welcoming environment
  • Development-focused programming that builds confidence, skill, and love for the game
