For over 10 years, the Port Colborne Girls Hockey Association (PCGHA) has been empowering girls of all ages (4 and up!) to discover the magic of hockey, make lasting friendships, and become unstoppable forces on the ice. 💙🤍

🏒 Our Programs

Junior Fundamentals

Perfect for beginners or anyone brushing up on the basics — fun, easy-going sessions once a week that focus on skating, skills, and confidence.

U7 Program

Ready to take your skills to the next level?
U7 is the perfect transition from Fundamentals to games! Players hone their skills and experience the thrill of competition through quarter-ice games throughout the season.

U9 - U15 Divisions

Buckle up for a season packed with weekly practices, games, and exciting development sessions to push your limits and grow your game!

🏒 U9 starts with development and half-ice games, transitioning to full-ice play after January 15th.
All U9-U15 players also receive FREE development sessions, funded by association fundraising efforts!

U18 & U22 Divisions

We get it — life’s busy!
That’s why U18 & U22 divisions offer a reduced practice schedule to balance school, work, and life while still keeping the competitive gameplay you love.

League Play

Teams from U9 through U22 compete in the Greater Hamilton Girls Hockey League (GHGHL) — a traveling house league that offers a variety of opponents and exciting competition all season long.

📅 Season Details

• Season Start: Teams aim to hit the ice in September

• Game Season: Runs October through March/April

• Practices: Primarily weekday evenings (often shared ice)

• Games: Weeknights or weekends (younger divisions have more weekend ice)

• Home Arena: Vale Health & Wellness Centre — Rink 1 & Rink 2

🤝 Friend Requests

Bring your besties!
Friend requests are highly encouraged, but must be mutual (both players must list each other). While we can’t guarantee every request, we’ll always do our best to accommodate.

💰 2025-2026 Season Pricing

🧤 Goalie discount applies to one goalie per team only.

Family Rate:
Families with 3 or more registered players receive 25% off the lowest registration fee.

If a program does not reach minimum registration numbers, players may be offered the opportunity to move up to the next division.
